The decision to build a golf course requires a huge financial commitment from the owner. The same level of commitment in terms of time and effort applies to the golf course architect whose task it is to turn these dreams into reality. Some time ago, I made the decision to work on just one original design at any given time during the year. This way, I can place a greater degree of commitment into each course that I work on. To achieve this, all design work from preliminary routings to detailed plans are hand-sketched by me personally, then much time is spent in the field to produce great results that will endure. I am proud to say that many of my former clients are now great friends.
